How can we help?

Answers to common questions about ChatterQ, plus how to reach our support team.

Welcome to ChatterQ Support

This Support Center covers the most common questions about setting up and using ChatterQ. For step-by-step guides, see the Documentation. If you can't find what you need, our team is happy to help by email.

How to contact our support team

Email support@getchatterq.com. Please include the email address you use to sign in, your company name, what you were trying to do, and any error message you saw. A screenshot helps.

Support is provided by email. For your security, never send passwords, payment card numbers or CRM login details by email — we will never ask for them.

Account setup and login assistance

  • Create an account from the Get Started page using your work email, then confirm your email address from the message we send you.
  • Forgot your password? Use “Forgot password” on the Log In page to receive a reset link.
  • Joining a team? Ask your account admin for an invitation. Invitations work once, only for the invited email address, and expire after 7 days.
  • If you're signed in with the wrong email, sign out and sign in again with the invited email.

Getting started with ChatterQ

  1. Sign in and complete onboarding with your business details.
  2. Describe the customers you want and the areas you serve.
  3. Create your first monitoring mission with keywords and a location.
  4. Our team reviews each mission before monitoring begins.
  5. Review the opportunities ChatterQ delivers and track what happens next.

Business profile setup

Your business profile tells ChatterQ what you sell, who you serve and where. Clear details — your services, ideal customers, service area and whether you sell to consumers, businesses or both — lead to more relevant results. You can update it from your account at any time.

Setting up monitoring missions

A mission is a saved search for one type of opportunity, such as “roof repair in Mooresville.” Each mission has keywords, a location and an audience. New missions are reviewed by our team before monitoring starts, so a mission may show as under review at first. The number of active missions depends on your plan.

Choosing keywords and geographic targeting

  • Use the words customers actually say: “need a roofer,” “roof leak,” “recommend a plumber.”
  • Keep each mission focused on one service. Create separate missions for separate services.
  • Choose the city, county or region you serve. Very broad areas produce more, less relevant results.
  • Add terms to exclude if you keep seeing results that aren't a fit.

Managing monitoring sources

Each mission can suggest public places where relevant conversations happen. You can approve or decline suggested sources and suggest your own. Source availability varies: not every social platform or website can be monitored, and our team confirms each source before it is used. A source shown as unavailable cannot currently be monitored.

Understanding discovered opportunities

An opportunity is a public post or conversation that may show someone looking for what you offer. Each one shows where it was found, a short summary, the reasons it was flagged and a score. Opportunities are suggestions based on public information and AI-assisted analysis — always review the original post before acting.

B2B and B2C opportunity classifications

  • Person looking for a service — an individual consumer appears to need what you offer.
  • Business looking for a service — a company appears to need what you offer.
  • Possible business prospect — a business that may be a fit. This label is always a guess and is marked as one.

Classifications are automated estimates and can be wrong. Choose which audiences each mission should target in its settings.

Reviewing, approving and rejecting opportunities

Open an opportunity to see its details and the original source. Update its status as you work it — for example viewed, contacted, responded, interested, not interested, appointment scheduled, won or lost — or archive it if it isn't a fit. Every status change is kept in the opportunity's history. You decide which opportunities to pursue and which to send to your CRM.

Connecting a supported CRM

GoHighLevel is currently supported. Other CRMs are listed as Coming Soon. Only account admins can connect a CRM.

  1. Go to Account → CRM Connections.
  2. Click Connect GoHighLevel. A GoHighLevel window opens.
  3. Sign in to GoHighLevel, choose the sub-account to connect and confirm the install and permissions.
  4. You'll return to ChatterQ and the connection shows Connected.

ChatterQ does not sync automatically. An opportunity is sent to your CRM only when someone on your team chooses Send to CRM.

Troubleshooting CRM authorization

  • Finish within 10 minutes. Each Connect click is valid for 10 minutes; if it expires, click Connect again.
  • Complete every GoHighLevel screen. After choosing a sub-account, GoHighLevel shows the app's permissions — confirm the install there or no connection is created.
  • Pop-ups blocked? Allow pop-ups for ChatterQ, or open ChatterQ in its own browser tab and try again.
  • Not an admin? Only account admins can connect or disconnect a CRM.
  • Shows Needs attention? Disconnect and connect again to renew access.
  • Still stuck? Email support@getchatterq.com with the time you tried and the message shown.

Billing and subscription help

  • View and change your plan from Account → Plan & billing (account admins only).
  • Upgrades take effect right away with a prorated charge for the rest of the billing period.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • You can't downgrade to a plan below what you're currently using — reduce active missions or seats first.
  • Extra missions and seats can be added as monthly add-ons.

Online payments are not yet live. Contact support for billing questions.

Privacy and data requests

To request a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, email support@getchatterq.com from your account email. See our Privacy Policy for details about the information we handle.
